Car history: |
Original Block and Heads 350 rebuilt in 2009. Bored .030 over with flat top pistons, 268 Competition Dual Pattern Camshaft and Lifters, Edelbrock Torker Intake with 650 Holley Carburetor. Heads have been upgraded with hardened valve seats and guides. New Ceramic coated headers and dual exhaust. 2" pipes from Corvette America installed by Car-X. Power Steering. Power Brakes. Tilt and Telescoping Steering Wheel. 400 Turbo transmission rebuilt in 2000. Installed in 2009. Brake Calipers rebuilt and all new brake pads installed in 2009. 4 new Firehawk Indy 500 tires in 2009. P255/60-15 Rear and P225/70-15 Front. New Battery in 2009. Engine and trans have less than 20 miles on them since rebuild. Car was parked in 2000 for the rebuild of the engine and transmission and re-installed in 2009. Front A-Frame bushings, ball joints and Front Coil Springs replaced in 1996. Was an air conditioned car. Compressor locked up and is not on car but available. Original color was War Bonnet Yellow. Now for the down-side. Vacuum lines need to be repaired or replaced for the headlight doors and wipers. The transmission does have some seepage from the dipstick to tranny seal. No biggie to fix. There is some fiberglass damage behind the left rear wheel (see pic close-up). Some minor paint cracking around the rear spoiler. Small hole in hood from an air-cleaner stud mis-hap (see pic close-up). Interior is in good shape other than the drivers seat will need recovering and some wear on the carpet. Overall, this is a very pretty driver-quality 'Vette. The exhaust sounds healthy and ready to go. 44,879 miles from the odometer. Colors from the owner. Built date is C21. July 25, 2009. |
